I ordered a "Free" trial of the electronic cigarette from Directecig.com. For the cost of shipping($9.95)you received a starter kit of the product. Nothing on the web page said anything about a 2 week trial period before they sent you the full order and charged the full price of $89.95 plus shipping. They buried that info in the fine print of the "terms of service". When I called to complain they were rude and refused to allow a return for a refund.

Don't do business with these people, they are just rude and have very poor business practices. 1283d7c

I hope that anyone that has been fooled buy the "Direct E Cig" Ad. Attains Nervana. Ciggerette smoking can be a serious problem and should not be used to rip people off. :)

I too was taken by the "E CIG." offer. 

The web page is well desinged to mis - lead you. My pop up blockers would not allow "TERMS & CONDITIONS" to open. Even after I turned "pop up blockers" off. 

When I called "coustomer service" the agent had to e-mail me the "TERMS & CONDITIONS" :)

I agree with all of the negative complaints. I, too, fell for the "trial." However, when I went through my bank to dispute the $99.90 charge on my card, they were able to pull this company up quickly. You're right about not seeing anything about the cancellation period. There isn't any thing on the order form. But, if you go onto their homepage, there is a list of options on the left side of their page. There is an option very close to the bottom of the list labeled, "terms." There you will find their loophole. The cancellation policy is written there. Any legitimate company has the terms written on their purchase page so that you can read your options and then make your decision. Not this company...You have to search and find. ...So, BEWARE!

I saw NOTHING about being charged $109. two weeks later. Never would have bought had I known as they are companies that are cheaper AND get really good reviews. My wife got her's 2+ weeks ago and they will NOT take it back. I called before they billed me so they did agree to take mine back. I see it states I have 3 days to mail it.... I am sure if I wait longer they'll refuse to take it back. I don't like the taste of it. If anyone knows of a better co. please let us know.

Dear Tim, you won't get a refund. I just went through this with getsmokelessnow.com which I think is the same scam company.I had to cancel my credit card to stop the charges. Soon they won't be answering the phone or responding to e-mails.

me too and i only have the e-cig for eight days and they charged me the 99.99. when i called to ask them what they were sending me and why that i didn't order anything else they told me about the 14day trial period. when i said i only had the e-cig for eight days they informed me that the days it took to ship to me were included in the 14 days. what a scam i'm talking to my lawyer tomorrow!
